So, how to protect the fire of the steel structure factory?
First, heat insulation method
First, the steel structure workshop is wrapped with refractory materials, including concrete, lightweight refractory concrete or steel wire retinal mortar. Its advantages are convenient materials, low price, high surface strength, impact resistance, the steel structure plant construction technical requirements are not high, but it looks very heavy.
Second, heat resistance method
The principle is to cut off or prevent the heat generated by the fire from being transferred to the steel member, so that the steel structure plant member does not exceed the critical temperature at the specified internal temperature.
The method is to set a layer of insulation material on the surface of the part. The high temperature generated by the fire is first passed to these insulation materials, and then from the insulation materials to the parts. The thermal conductivity of the insulation material is relatively small, which will inevitably prevent the heat flow from being transferred to the parts and play a protective role.
Third, heat conduction method
This method is to fill the new cross section with water. In the event of a fire, the parts transfer the absorbed heat to the water supply and rely on the evaporation of the water to consume the heat or to export the heat through circulation. The temperature of steel structure plant parts can be maintained at about 100 ° C, so that the frame temperature will not rise to the critical temperature, thus playing a protective role.
Four, spraying method
Fireproof coatings are directly sprayed on the surface of steel structure components, which can form a fire-resistant protective layer in case of fire. At present, two methods are used for large steel structure plant components.
Thickly coated fire retardant paint thickness between 8-50 mm. The paint has a relatively low density and low thermal conductivity. Through the heat insulation performance of the paint itself, the fire resistance of the steel beam can be improved, and the fire resistance can reach 0.5-3h. ; If it is thinly coated, the coating thickness is less than 7mm, this coating has a certain decorative performance, and the fire resistance of the steel beam can be improved by the fire insulation formed by expanding foam at high temperature.
The general requirements of fireproof coatings for steel structure plants should check raw materials in advance, and market materials and benzene solvents should not be used. Fire retardant coatings can be sprayed, painted, rolled, scraped or brushed, and can be dried and cured under normal natural environmental conditions.
Qualified fire retardant coatings are alkaline, and the primer should be used together with ordinary anti-rust coatings. After drying, there should be no pungent odor. When burned, there is usually no smoke or unhealthy odor.
