► Raw material factors:

3. Steel beam design: Rectangular beam is a common bending component, which is often used in design, but the material utilization rate is very low. First, the stress of the material near the neutral axis is lower; Second, the bending moment of the beam varies along the length of the beam. Due to the low stress in most sections of the beam, the material can not be used well, and the material utilization rate can be improved only when the axis is stressed. Therefore, the rectangular beam can be replaced by a plane truss in the design, and the plane truss is equivalent to a hollow beam, and the excess material in the beam is removed, which is both economic and self-weight can be reduced. It can also be developed into a space grid, and the utilization rate of materials can be greatly improved.
