In the laser cutting process, the cross section of carbon steel can be laser cut very smooth, to achieve the mirror effect, commonly known as smooth laser cutting. Bright surface laser cutting is mainly used for medium and thick carbon steel, steel plate is too thin or too thick to achieve bright surface laser cutting.

1. Control the laser cutting speed. Laser cutting speed is too fast will lead to incomplete combustion of materials, workpiece can not be laser cutting. Too slow a speed will lead to excessive combustion and melting deformation. Under the premise of ensuring the quality of the workpiece, the cutting speed should be increased as much as possible.

2. Adjust the nozzle height. The nozzle height affects the beam quality, oxygen purity and airflow direction. The lower the nozzle, the better the beam quality, the higher the oxygen purity, the smaller the airflow direction, and the bright surface laser cutting should be as low as possible.

3. Adjust the laser cutting pressure. In the carbon steel oxygen laser cutting process, the combustion of the material will release a lot of heat, so the oxygen pressure is not large. In general, the lower the pressure in the laser cutting range, the brighter the laser cutting section, but in order to ensure the stability of laser cutting, there is usually a certain proportion on the basis of laser cutting pressure.

4. Adjust the laser cutting power. For plates of different thicknesses, the greater the thickness, the higher the power required.

5. Adjust the laser cutting focus. The light beam from the nozzle of the fiber laser has a certain diameter. When laser cutting bright surfaces, a smaller nozzle is usually used. If the focus is too large, it will cause the nozzle to heat, affect the laser cutting quality and stability, and even directly damage the nozzle. Therefore, it is necessary to find out the large focus value that the nozzle size can withstand and then adjust it.

6. Select nozzle size. The smaller the half nozzle, the brighter the laser cutting section, the better the effect.
